Our Story
How Green Gate started
Green Gate 4 MENA Youth was born after COP28 in Dubai, when we noticed a clear gap: MENA youth are talented and ambitious, yet their access to international conferences, programs, and environmental opportunities was limited and scattered.
We created Green Gate to close that gap — a single trusted platform that brings together opportunities, networks, and resources, opening the door for a new generation of climate leaders across the region.

Islem Zrelli
Founder & CEO
Islem Zrelli has led the Green Gate vision since its founding. With a background in climate and environmental work and a passion for youth empowerment, she built the platform to be the bridge connecting the region's youth with the opportunities they deserve. Islem believes real change begins when we give young people the tools and networks to lead the green transition in their own region.
